What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) provides an extra layer of security to help safeguard your account from unauthorized access. When 2FA is enabled, logging in requires both your password and a verification code—typically sent to your mobile device or generated by an app. This extra step ensures that even if someone gets hold of your password, they still can’t access your account.
For added convenience, you can now choose to trust a browser. During login, simply check the “Trust this browser and skip the 2FA verification for future logins” option. When you do this, that browser will be remembered as trusted and you won’t have to enter a verification code for the next 30 days. Please note that if you ever disable or reset 2FA, any trusted browser settings will be removed.
To quickly enable 2FA, simply visit this page and follow the on-screen steps. Enjoy enhanced security along with the ease of using trusted browsers when you log in.
